# Your first 10 minutes on Kollekt

> Three quick things to do so your page is ready for fans.

## Do these three things first

1. **Check your cover photo and artist name.** Both come already filled in. Update them if anything's out of date or wrong. See [Edit your Artist page](/for-artists/your-space/editing-the-artist-page).
2. **Send one Direct Line message to yourself.** Post a photo and a sentence to see how it reaches fans. See [Send a Direct Line message](/for-artists/your-space/sending-messages).
3. **Copy your Kollekt link and add it to your social bios.** Instagram, TikTok, wherever your audience hangs out. This is the most important place to put your link. See [Add Kollekt to your social bios](/for-artists/bring-fans-in/social-bios).

Once your page is set up, go to [Announce Kollekt to your fans](/for-artists/bring-fans-in/announce-to-your-fans) for words you can copy and where to post them.

Once the basics above are in, here's what to set up next when you're ready:
