Your Kollekt page already exists. Your job now is to make it yours — and to try it before anyone else does. Most artists sign up to a new platform and immediately start telling fans to come over. On Kollekt the sequence is the other way around. Get comfortable inside first. Then invite people in.

The three-step start

1. Try your page

Open the app and tap into your artist card. Customize the cover photo, your artist name, and your link sections. Get it to the point where you’d be happy for a fan to land there. This takes about five minutes. See: Edit your Artist page

2. Try Direct Line

Send yourself a few messages. Text, a photo, a voice note. Feel how it works. This is the tool you’ll use most on Kollekt, so you want to be comfortable with it before fans are on the other end. How Kollekt fits together

Three features, three jobs:
  • Home is your page. The link you put everywhere. When a fan taps it, they land on you — and they get the chance to join.
  • Direct Line is how you reach fans. One message, one push notification, every fan who joined. No algorithm deciding who sees it.
  • Chat is where fans talk to each other. It’s their room. You can drop in, but fans run the conversation.
The shift to keep in mind: Your bio link today sends fans between platforms you don’t own. Your Kollekt link brings them into a space you do own — and keeps them reachable.

How subscriptions work

Subscriptions are always on. There’s nothing to enable. Fans can subscribe to your community from day one, and your earnings start accruing from the first sale — whether or not your payout account is connected. Focus on growing the room first; leaning into subscriber-only posts feels natural once your Chat is alive and your Direct Line has a cadence. See: How subscriptions and earnings work.
