Your social bios are seen by every fan who lands on your profile. Putting Kollekt there is the permanent, always-on version of sharing your link. Takes about 10 minutes to do all of them at once.

What to know first

  • Do all of them in one sitting. You’ll forget if you don’t. Block 15 minutes, open every platform, do it in one pass.
  • Use the same label everywhere. Kollekt or @yourname on Kollekt. Same text on every platform builds recognition — fans see the word “Kollekt” repeatedly and it starts to mean something.
  • The URL format is always the same. https://app.kollekt.io/yourname — lowercase, no spaces.
  • Pair the link with context. Most platforms let you add a line of bio text around the link. Generic “Music + more” converts worse than “New track in the Direct Line → tap below.”

Instagram

Up to 5 bio links allowed.
  1. Open Instagram, tap your profile, tap Edit profile.
  2. Find the Links section and tap Add link.
  3. Paste https://app.kollekt.io/yourname, set the label to Kollekt.
  4. Drag Kollekt to the top of the list if you have other links.
  5. Tap Done.
Pair with a pinned post that explains what the Kollekt link actually is — see Announce Kollekt to your fans for the pinned post caption.

TikTok

Caveat: TikTok only allows a bio link once you have 1,000+ followers. Smaller accounts can’t add a clickable link at all. If you have 1,000+ followers:
  1. Open TikTok, tap ProfileEdit profile.
  2. In the Website field, paste https://app.kollekt.io/yourname.
  3. Save.
If you have fewer than 1,000 followers (or as additional coverage):
  • Bio text. Type Kollekt: kollekt.io/yourname in your bio. Not clickable, but memorable.
  • Pinned video. Pin a video that says “Everything’s on my Kollekt” and put the full URL in the caption.
  • Say the URL out loud. In your next three TikToks, say kollekt.io/yourname at the end. Fans will screenshot and type it manually when a video hits.

YouTube

YouTube gives you three placements — use all of them. Channel About page. Settings → Customize channel → Basic info → Links section. Add Kollekt with label Kollekt. Pinned comment under every video. After uploading a video, drop a comment from your channel that says “Everything I post is on Kollekt: kollekt.io/yourname” and pin it. Stays at the top of every video’s comments. First line of every video description. Habit worth building: Kollekt link is always the first thing in the description. Above the tracklist, above “Subscribe,” above tour dates. Literally line one.

X / Twitter

Single clickable URL in the bio, plus one pinned tweet.
  1. Profile → Edit profile.
  2. In the Website field, paste https://app.kollekt.io/yourname. Save.
  3. Compose a tweet: “Putting everything in one place now. kollekt.io/yourname” (or your own wording). Post it, then pin it to your profile.
The pinned tweet stays at the top of your timeline for anyone who lands on your profile.

Facebook (artist page)

Facebook artist pages have a “Details” or “About” section with a Website field.
  1. Open your Facebook artist page.
  2. Tap Edit or About depending on the layout.
  3. In the Website field, set https://app.kollekt.io/yourname as the primary URL.
  4. Save.
Facebook traffic is lower than Instagram or TikTok for most artists, but fans who find you via Facebook are often older, more likely to subscribe, and appreciate the clarity of one link.

Signs it’s working

Open your Kollekt stats and check the referrer breakdown over the next two weeks:
  • Instagram should be the biggest single source if most of your audience is there.
  • TikTok shows up if you’re posting and saying the URL.
  • YouTube traffic arrives slowly but steadily — videos keep getting discovered.
  • X / Facebook will be smaller trickles. Still worth it because they’re fans you’d otherwise miss.
If any platform shows zero arrivals after two weeks, check that the link is actually live on that platform’s profile and that your bio mentions something worth tapping through for.

Tips

  • Batch all bio updates in one sitting. You’ll forget otherwise. Open every platform once, update everywhere, done.
  • Re-check the bios every quarter. Platforms move things, change link allowances, add new placements. A 10-minute audit every three months keeps everything current.
  • If you only have time for one today, do Instagram. It’s the highest-volume placement for most artists.
